Biomechanics in sports can be defined as the muscular, joint, and skeletal actions of the body during the execution of a given task, skill, and/or technique. This applies to the workplace as workers generally perform a specific repetitive task for 8 hours a day for 5 days a week. This is a significant amount of time potentially performing dysfunctional movement patters that can lead to chronic pain & injuries. Claudia can help you identify any faulty movement patterns & ways to correct theses to enhance your employees' work environment for optimal employee satisfaction, productivity, & overall wellness.

These sessions combine a variety of tools (check out the TOOL BOX Dropdown menu to learn more about the different tools used) to customize your treatment to your specific needs & often resemble physical therapy more than traditional massage therapy. Sessions generally consist of these basic components:
Assess, Treat, Re-Asses, Assign Homework. Homework will be prescribed to reinforce the changes made during your treatment session. It is crucial to your recovery that you do your homework as prescribed. These movements will incorporate all of the concepts integral to a speedy recovery. Your prescribed homework will be emailed within 24 hours.

For returning clients - One on one online coaching sessions are available via FaceTime, Google Hangouts or Zoom. These sessions can be customized to fit your specific needs, which we will discuss during your initial consultation. Based on your needs, I will customize a plan for you and we can go from there.
For new clients - Without a good assessment, you leave your health and overall results to chance. A good assessment should identify potential physical and mental roadblocks, uncover weak links in the nervous system, and provide the client with a clear sense of direction. Please come to your appointment in comfortable workout clothing to allow for full range of motion and plan for this initial movement assessment appointment to last anywhere from 60 to 90 mins.
For returning clients - Please come to your appointment in comfortable workout clothing to allow for full range of motion and plan for this follow up movement therapy session appointment to last about 60 minutes.
